Matt is a seasoned investor, with ~20 years of experience investing across the public and private equity markets. Matt is currently a Managing Partner at Mission 3A, a venture studio headquartered in San Antonio, TX. Prior to launching Mission 3A with partner Trey Moore, Matt served as an Investment Analyst at Citadel LLC, a $30bn Multi-Strategy Investment Fund, where he managed an equity portfolio focused on the Technology, Media & Telecom (“TMT”) Sector. Prior to his time working in the public market equity space, he was an Investment Analyst at Nautic Partners, a middle-market private equity fund headquartered in Providence, RI. Matt started his career as an M&A investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers in New York. Matt holds a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He received an A.B. in Business Economics from Brown University, where he finished first in the Economics Department.
